Okay folks, I know it's been a little bit since I last made a peep, but here you go! News, newness and updates!

Now, I have three new releases but each of them have some temporary conditions to them, so please read carefully so that you understand and don't come rushing to the store confused. ;)

First up, I am participating in the grid-wide egg hunt organized by Vain Inc. It sounds like it's gonna be alot of fun and a great opportunity to snatch up some awesome freebies simply by hopping LMs from one shop to another. There are some great designers and creators participating, and all you have to do is grab the first egg at the starting location, hop to the LM inside of it, find the next egg, hop to next LM, and so on - collecting over 20 free prizes! Yay!

It doesn't start until the 23rd (I will be dropping the starting egg and instructions on my update group closer to go-time) and runs through both the 23rd and 24th of this month. I am offering one of my new sets, unreleased, for free for those two days ONLY! After this egg-hunting event it will go on sale in my shop as usual, so please make sure you come participate in the fun! This set is kind of a sequel to my "Kewt as a Button" set ...I call it 'Sweetheart' and I even threw in a totally free "bunny" pose just for kicks. ;) Teaser here:

And now for the big big OMG news. Sorta. Back when I reopened my shop, Laynie Link attended the reopening party and we had talked about how I always wanted to work with props at some point - I just wasn't skilled enough as a builder and had no idea where to start. She told me that she had wanted to dabble in prop poses as well but I think her shop just kept her too busy - so we formed a little partnership that night. She dropped some simple props she'd made on me, and I promised I would work with them. It took me THIS long. I know. I suck. I think the fact that Laynie's computer went bye-bye provoked and motivated me to get off my rear and finish these prop sets up. I wanted to figure out a way to pay her a percentage of my profits to begin with, but when her computer died I decided that for a period of time I would simply give her 100% of the profits made off of these sets as my way of saying thank you and also helping out a friend and fellow creator. So that's what I'm doing. If you come by the shop, know that your purchase of either of these two sets will be helping a sweet person like Laynie out, and please click the poster for an LM to her store where you can help her directly through further purchases or donations. Thank you!

That said - in the process of creating the poses for the props I started realizing these would totally suck without some way of scripting the props to work with the poses - luckily I came across a freebie script that did pretty much exactly what I needed it to do...I modified it a bit and voila! Scripted pose props!! :o They are totally mod/copy so you can edit them to your desire, make as many copies as you want, play with them, experiment, have fun. And if the script becomes a hassle, simply yank the poses from the props and use them seperately if you want (at the price I am selling these for, you are still only paying 50L per pose, which is the normal rate - you are basically getting the scripted prop FREE).





Perhaps in the future I will work more with props, it's really opening my mind to ideas and possibilities. I have more pose sets in the works, yes, men, you too will be getting some goodies, hopefully by next week! And I know I've been saying it for months and months, but I swear I will get into animating and AOs soon!

Now, a little rant from your's truly.

I am not normally the kind of person to drag my dirty laundry out into the front yard and beat it with a stick...but this one hit very close to home, literally, and I'm pretty fuckin' raw over it. I'm sure this will be a story all of you have experienced yourself or know someone who has, still not gonna stop me from telling mine.

I only just reopened my shop in January of this year, I decided to rent/buy from someone I thought I could trust as a friend. I owned two 4096 parcels in his commercial sim. I paid my tier on time or early, and it was not due again until the 15th of March. This morning, my landlord who was upset at being told I only wanted to speak to him if it dealt with business (because he has progressively attempted to persue a personal/romantic relationship with me and invaded my private space repeatedly), decided to tell me to get off his land by the 15th.

Now, this, I would have had no problem with...it's within his rights to do so and doesn't break his covenant in any way - although it reaks of immaturity and childishness. But then he proceeded to eject and ban my partner, Lawless McBride from our parcel and home. Lawless had said not a word to him, had barely *ever* said anything more than "hi and hello" to him the entire time we have resided there. He apparently put me on mute at that point in time and would not reply to anything I was saying or asking. Law IMed him and at one point in their conversation, the landlord even said that he banned him without reason and told him to "knock himself out" in response to reporting this to LL. Which, sure, is a total joke but that does not negate the fact that this landlord stepped WAY over his professional boundary.

He used Law against me because he knew it would work - and it did. By ejecting/banning Law he knew I would be provoked to leave his sim sooner than my 15th deadline because why the hell do I want to sit in a sim, on a parcel where my partner can't even come for the next week??? Not only this, but the land was set to group-owned with myself and Lawless being members and he has always paid half the tier on our properties! Since I am aware that we are pretty much subject to this landlord's whims and covenant, I know that we have very few rights, if any. I also did not want to bet my business on his rants and whims, I wanted to get my shop out of there and secured in a new location before this nutcase blew another sparkplug and decided to delete everything I worked so hard on.

Anyway, this is my attempt at taking back a little power in this situation and perhaps giving him a little bit of "fuck you too" in the process. His sims are primarily residential, but he is branching into commercial sims, so PLEASE, designers/creators, think twice before getting into business with this man - because he'll be expecting you to get into bed with him too!

Avoid this man and his sims at ALL costs:

Okay folks, this is gonna be a long one! So, for those of you who like to get down to business rather than read, I'll throw the new stuff up here at the top - but if you are interested in the various changes and updates to my shop/policies/etc, please make sure to read on down! Thank you guys!

10 New Couples/Group Sets This Week! I had alottalottalotta requests for more couple's poses - apparently I'm cheap or something? :D Heh. I had already had some sitting on the table waiting to be finished, but I had some requests for more 'casual/friendly' sets too ...so these are for the most part just fun and friendly, but you'll find some romantic-schmoozy stuff mixed in. You can purchase them from the posters on the wall, or from my couple's pose vendor.
Also! I've removed the pose balls from the shop for anything over 2-people sets, they annoy me, use up lots of prims and they're an eyesore. Take a look at the posters, pretty much what you see is what you get, but if you really need to test one of the larger group sets out before purchasing, just drop me a line and I'll set that up for you! :)

I do NOT build, so...none of the 'props' are included and instead of boxes you should probably imagine chairs and ...stuff. Sorry. I was feeling silly and made a pose inspired by the cover-pic of the movie Blacksnake Moan, but since I can't build, I couldn't install the chain, which is a crucial prop in this darn pose...therefore, it's FREE! Yay! You will only find it in my update group history archives though. I have two subscribe kiosks at my store, one on the steps outside and one on the wall inside. Does NOT use your 25 group slot limit!


*Speaking of my update group, I just wanted to say that from now on I will not do time-sensitive freebies in my group anymore. Apparently the last time I tried this there was a great deal of confusion and I hate to think that some people might have been annoyed, upset or mad over this - my apologies! So, from now on, limited-time freebies will only be done on-location in my shop, all other freebies will be offered in my shop and/or through my update group, of course.

*While on that note, I've put another box of freebie poses in my shop, it's another set of 10 of my regular poses adjusted for the larger/chubbier avatar (just inside the door in the usual place). I did this because of the great feedback I have gotten on the original free poses and to show my appreciation and thanks. I cannot count how many of you came up to me personally in the shop, or IMed me or took time to use my little online-messager to send me a nice note. That's very very much appreciated, I <3 you guys. So yeah, I will keep trying to give my thanks back to all of my great customers through my freebies.

*If you've been by the shop in the past week and a half you probably noticed that I did some rearranging. When I first reopened I had broken my poses into as many smaller sets as I could to make shopping and browsing them easier on you guys. But ultimately I think it created a bit of a cluttered mess and lag-fest what with all the pose stands and scripts running. So, to save space and such, I've combined two sets into one pose stand - it's still only roughly 20 poses per stand, but it makes things look neater and hopefully creates less lag. I also moved some of the 'themed' sets (faery/emo/preg/etc) onto the divider walls in the middle of the floor, just incase you are looking for them, they'll stay in single pose stands probably.

Up until this point I did not have gift cards for my shop, but since I needed to create one to offer for the event, and because I had had quite a few requests for them, I decided to go ahead and create a giftcard program for my shop. You can find them just inside the doorway on the wall there beside the update-group kiosk. They come in 100L, 500L and 1000L amounts. Instructions are given not just to the purchaser but the redeemer as well. Shouldn't be too hard, but if you guys have questions just send them my way.
