Something new for today. [LAP]'s first AO ...ever. :o I've called this one 'Cutie Balloonie' because I'm super original and creative. I started this sucker back in October and sorta shelved it because I'm a nit-picky nerd. I've decided to release it finally as an RFL donation item. You can find the kiosk just in front of the stage at the main shop. This AO is jam-packed full of chuckles for only 200L, so if you feel like being a little more than generous, just remember all donations go to RFL and every little bit helps!

I especially like the three-person set because I created it to be a bit more subtle, casual and stand-alone, so because of this you can move the three balls around and create any number of combinations that still work for a group photo effect.

I'm back! And starting it off with some new boy poses. Not your usual macho-man style either, just something a little fun, a little flirty and a lot shy. [LAP]'s very own Shy Guy. "Awwww" :p

Once again I focused really hard on breaks, flat feet, hand placement and the like - I hope I've pulled that off okay. As always the full set comes in both priority 3 and 4, but like with my last set (the blogger poses) I've also included a few variations on some of the poses where I felt it was appropriate. 10 new original poses, 5 variations on those and 2 priorities. So, when you purchase this full set for 400L you are getting 30 poses! :o

[LAP] Introduces the Blogger Appreciation Program + New Poses!

For a long time now I've been aware that a huge part of my success as a pose maker has been due to the coverage bloggers give us. I've always wanted to figure out a way to show my thanks in return, and to encourage the continuance of that shared appreciation - and finally, I got off my ass and did it. :p

This week I'm unleashing my I Heart Bloggers pose sets on the grid. Yep, I even included the boys this time! ;) It's two sets of poses geared towards bloggers and fashion shots primarily. I focused hard on torso bending/twisting/breaking and also on placement of hands and feet. Not just that, but each set comes with multiple variations on poses, plenty of hand morph options and as usual both priority 3 and 4. For the ladies I tried to include a pose to cover every fashion scenario I could think of - prim skirts, prim pants, purses, poofy skirts, system skirt and so on.

You can purchase them outright for 400L, or 50L per (you save way, way more by purchasing the full set, there's over 20 poses in each). Victoria Bushfire Relief Fund - Helping Out

As soon as I heard that Autumn and Dakota were putting together a fundraiser for the people affected by the fires in Australia, I knew I wanted to help out. I made this new pose prop with 100% of the proceeds going directly to this charity. It's 4 prims, partially sculpted, comes with 15 poses, some static and animated, scripted and it can support up to 4 avatars, though it's perfectly fine for solo use. You can purchase it in my main shop, but if you'd like to demo it I've set up a platform in the sky for you to try it out.

New @ [LAP] - Buncha Couples & Group Stuffs

I thought I had a bright idea (it was not), but instead I think I lost my mind (true story), when I attempted to take over the world (I failed) by way of a pose set. The holidays are coming up and with that, lots of parties and pictures. So...I thought, why not make a huge pose set? :o If you have more than twenty friends, well, you suck. :p hehe.

I give you!!! :o

This set is made up of 8 smaller couples/group sets plus a couple of various poses I threw in to fill it out. It's casual and fun, kinda sweet, a lot dorky and goofy like me. And, here's the kicker - it's mod/copy! :D The first time I've ever offered a couple/group pose set with copy perms! I figure it would be insane trying to edit a set this large and not have a backup copy at all times. The nice thing too is that you can rez it, move it around, delete a pose, copy a pose, and recreate a pretty much endless number of combinations and have several large group sets for any photo situation. ALSO....I priced it so that you are saving almost 50% over buying the smaller sets individually.

Here are the smaller sets, just incase you have no need for such a large group set (not all of us have that many friends, goodness! :o) - these are MOD/TRANS. Not copy.

New @ [LAP] - A Little Holiday Spirit

Shir Dryke of Ornamental Life sent out the word today about her storecards being slashed 50% and when I found out it was because she was trying to raise a little money to help out her RL situation ...I told her I'd make sure she got the money she needed. To help do that I've created this limited time holiday treat. It's very simple but it's fairly priced also...plus all proceeds are going to Shir, so it's for a good purpose.

The chair is mod/copy, 10 prims, scripted - no poseballs. It functions much like my halloween punkins did...actually exactly like they did, except this is just a one pose prop. It's meant for two people, a male and female. Further instructions are included with purchase. It's only 100L. I put it outside on the steps, so it's easy to find! Thank you everyone, very much.

I know I've been quiet for a couple of months now. I've been working very hard, I can assure you and here's just a sampling of what's in store in the coming weeks. I really hope you guys like this new set. I decided to step outside my comfort zone a bit and see what I could create, I really think it came out decently. I'm sorta proud of this one. I hope you like it too!

I decided to call this set 'sexy beast' because it really captures the sex appeal in the poses and body movement. I think it strikes a bit of a high-fashion style pose also. It's a bit of combined elements really.

Oh and I really must thank one of my idols, the godmother of poses in SL, Luth! This set is really very much dedicated to her. She bestowed some wisdom on me recently and I hope I've made her proud!

I've had these in my shop for months now, but never really made a big fuss about them. They were actually quite popular (IMs capped every day delivering these suckers) with just 3 stands, 1 ground sit and 1 object sit. I decided recently that I was not entirely satisfied, even as a freebie, with how they were, and I cursed myself for sending a whole new generation of noobs and alts out there in the world with a shoddy representation of an AO. I am sorry. Forgive me! :p So, I went in, jammed it full of poses to give it what you see in the photos. These are still only available to new residents of 30 days or less, but hopefully they'll be a bit more acceptable, quality-wise. It's still very very basic, but it beats the default, I suppose.

I know some people would like to have this, that are not new residents, so as a hint, they will be available for a limited time during a certain hunt, that will be the ONLY time EVER that you can get these without being a total noob.

The Magic of Oz - Sim Opening and Hunt!

Magic of Oz SIM OPENING!

My friends Candy and Malk have created one of the most awesome sims I've seen in a long while in SL. I was so thrilled to be able to get a peek and not only that, but help in the process and contribute my tiny bit of creativity to it. When they asked me if I wanted to prepare an item for their grand-opening hunt, I said - sure! But when I was later asked to help supply poses here and there around the sim for photo ops, I was honored!

So for this weekend only you get the chance to snatch up around 30 poses I created for their sim, they won't be in any nice neat sets like I normally do, and they'll probably seem a little random, just keep in mind they're not Oz inspired, they're Magic of Oz SIM inspired. ;) I even dabbled in animating...heaven forbid. :o Yeah, go get them and laugh at me.

This is the hunt of hunts! Even if the sim alone wasn't enough to provoke you to stop what you are doing and visit, the hunt should! They have gifts from all of your favorites - Silent Sparrow, Miriel, Schadenfreude, The Stringer Mausoleum, Juicy, MnM Design, Designs of Darkness, and the list goes on and on. Not just that, but some of the designers who have moved into the shops sprinkled in munchkin land and the witch's castle have also created new releases themed around Magic of Oz sim, which can be purchased!

You will be hunting for red slippers, about the size of a normal shoe in SL. They will rez randomly and move every five minutes, but they're not that hard to find, trust me! They will rez just about anywhere and everywhere - so make sure to look high and low! I've been told that throughout the day some GREEN slippers will also be placed around the sim (these will not disappear) with even more prizes and gifts to be had! The hunt goes on for this weekend only so please make sure to stop in before it's too late - you'll be kicking yourself if you don't!

Got a new set for you that I just put out at the main store. This one was semi-sorta inspired by my recent visits to 7 Ultra Lounge - or at least that's where the initial idea bloomed. The poses themselves are inspired by all of those lovely celebrity ladies and their red carpet moments. I've picked poses from the old hollywood classic group, some from the younger, fresh and perky celebrities, and some from those curvier, saucy ladies who like to heat it up for the camera. You'll be happy to know some of these stands look great in an AO too. Very subtle yet ...sleek, is the word that comes to mind.

Two New Pose Sets @ [LAP]

Hi everyone! Finally got them on the wall at the mainstore. Whew. I'm sloooow today! :p Two new pose sets for you today, with more to come soon I hope!

Eye Candy - My newest jewelry pose set, a sequel to the 'Material Girl' set of old. My friend Candy who is a jeweler has been the monkey on my back for this set for awhile, so this goes out to her! :D I tried to make them more fluid and versatile so that they can be used for more than just jewelry. Here is the vendor image, but please check out the photos my friend Berry did (caution nudity), because my vendor-style really doesn't do them justice.

Rawkstar - This is a set I started awhile back but never finished because I hate producing poses that I cannot provide a prop for. But some of my live musician friends in SL kept pestering me until I completed it.

I've been a busy girl. Sorta. Here's another set of teasing images for you, this time from my newest 'jewelry pose' set. I asked my friend Berry to take the pictures for me and she did an amazing job - squishing and resizing and adjusting so they don't hog the feed really doesn't do them justice, so please go here to view them in full: here

I think the thing that I like most about this new series is that it's rather versatile. My previous jewelry set is very one dimensional and not so fluid - I wanted to correct that with this new set. I wanted it to not only be ideal for jewelry but also great for fashion shots, shoes, or whatever it is that you might want to use them for. I hope I've accomplished that!

I will have these out in the main store this weekend, probably as early as tomorrow - I'm also planning to release the rockstar set from the previous tease, and I have a few more sets in the works that I might be able to finish up and box for a weekend release too....if I can stop plurking (thanks Phoenix! :p).

Free Stuffs, More Hunts & Teasers

The (greatest!) poop hunt is long gone and over, if you missed it - I'm sorry! Some of the things in the hunt will be released at normal prices in the shop, some will be put out as ever-long freebies in the store, and some will never see the light of day again. Poo.

But I haven't been idle in the meantime - I've got a ton of stuff I'm working on, almost complete is a new "rawkstar" set ...this one is going out to all my buddies who are live performers in SL. Here are some teaser images for you, keep in mind it won't be released for some time and might be released under a different name. (you can click the images for a full size preview)

There's also a hunt going on at HoH/Bewitched...I have a shop at the HoH mall and I'm very grateful to Shel and Fall for allowing me to take up space there, so trying once again to be a good neighbor, I am participating in the daisy pickin' hunt going on, starting today! Because it seemed fitting, I've put my 'Summer Daze' pose set into my daisy - all you have to do is find it and the set is your's free! You can find the full details on the hunt over here.

And lastly, my buddy Pill (aka: Pie) has her own sim called Zombie Love. She invited me over to have a little spot on her island and tonight at 7pm SLT she is having an opening party. Tonight there will be a live music show and some freebies out just for visitors to Zombie Love...I've whipped up a set of zombie poses just for you, I know that ~momo~ has out the cutest suit, and Pill put together some adorable bangles! Oh my gosh, this is the month of freebies and hunts. :o I'm taking a vacation soon! :p

Okay, first things, I have a new storecard system, yay! It's totally automated, no more waiting, no more hassle...just purchase a card from the vendor in the shop, and spendspendspend, or gift it to someone! That simple. And for newest news! I have a shop at the Starlust motel and those crazy kids have decided to throw together a panty hunt. :D How fun is that? Since I can't make clothing ..at all...I decided to make some goofy panty poses to stick in my golden clam (oh yeah, just go to Floyd or Lloyd sims and hunt for golden clams). This is what you'll get from my clam:

First up we have the 'crack attack' pose, for all those times when you need to dig yer panties out of yer crack. Second the 'omg my panties are so rawk, look at them!' pose, for uh..when you ..feel like ..bending over and showing everyone your panties? And last the 'holy package of panties' pose, the great 'V' of divine justice...I bet it could be unisex. heh.

Also, all the underpants used in that photo are part of the hunt too, courtesy Apatia and HoH! Woo! So what the hell are you waiting for, get thee arses to the Starlust Motel and dig them clams!

THE CRAPPIEST HUNT EVER!

I hate hunts. I hate them so much that I participate in every one that I have time for. I suffer the cluttered inventory of hunt madness along with the rest of you. So, because I had been promising my group a ton of freebies for weeks, rather than being cool and nice and just "dumping" them in a box and "dumping" them on my group neatly....I decided to be a brat, stick the freebies in piles of sculpted poop goodness and scatter them all over my main store location. WOO!

I'm not sure when yet, but soon, as in days from now. I'm not sure how many shit piles you need to find, but it will be many. It will include couples, groups, female and male poses (no boys, I won't forget you!). Yay! :D The only way you are going to know all the details is if you join my update group - it's free, doesn't use one of your group slots and you'll get a bunch of free crap from me! And by crap I really mean awesometastic amazingest stuff ever!

New Pose Sets - Sugar & Spice @ [LAP]

Long Awkward Pose In-World

Finally got these two sets out at my Main Shop location and I'll be rolling them out to my satellites soon.

These sets were inspired by Avril and Taylor for a bit of punky and sweet. I named them Sugar and Spice. This is my first time using a lot of hand morphs with the poses, I normally avoid it because SL isn't reliable with hand morphs - but I think these came out okay. I would recommend using an emoter HUD with them for added fun!

If you have purchased pose sets from me between June 20th and July 17th, please read on!

In my sets I included two versions of my poses. One set is more AO-friendly, but the ones labeled PR4 are the ones I am replacing at your request. I goofed up and left the heads loose on them, and the photographers and bloggers out there have been heard. :p I reupped them ...once again...and now the PR4 (priority level 4) poses are now completely static. No loose heads. Hooray!

So if you would like a replacement set, please get your transaction information to me in a notecard and I will get it back to you as soon as I can. Sasy posted this helpful information that I'm going to paste here for those who don't know how to find transaction information or what to do with it:

***UPDATE****
FIXED!!!! A very helpful forum user was able to give me a tip. Apparently the newer models come with bundled (forced) security software. So, if you come across this problem, make sure to uninstall the 'edata security' software. That's all I did and it fixed it. I'm only bumping this to make sure people know and just incase anyone else has this problem you guys will know what to tell them. Thank you everyone!

I know this is poor form to post something non-fashion related on the feed, and doing so with my shop blog. :o Whoops. But this is important to me.

Some of you might know that I've been struggling with a dying computer for weeks now. I finally decided to call it quits with the old beast and so I got a new computer wednesday. It's lovely, it works wonderfully. I didn't actually try uploading anything until Sunday, and that's when I ran into a problem. For some reason I can't upload - at all. I have no upload dialog menu. I crash if I try to force it to find a file. I crash crash crash. I've done everything I can think of - uninstalled, reinstalled, different accounts, different viewers. Today a friend pointed me in the direction of a JIRA that is my problem exactly. Apparently it's a new model Acer issue, as that's what my computer is too.

If any of you want to take a look at the symptoms in the JIRA comments and give me ideas or suggestions - I'd love that also. But if you could just take a moment to go there and simply vote on the issue, I'd appreciate that muchly.

So, I have some newness for you but you need to read carefully so there's no confusion.

I am participating in the Fashion Expo 08 RFL event this year. It opens tomorrow and as my offering I'm bringing with me THREE new sets (all for the ladies, sorry guys!) plus an extremely limited edition set that is exclusive to and going bye-bye with this event.

So, before I give you the photos of the new sets, just know that you WILL NOT find these in my store right now, they're going to be debuting at the Fashion Expo tomorrow. I really hope you guys will find time to come by and participate in a great cause! There's so many amazing designers involved in this. Not to mention an auction and fashion show, raffle prizes and so much more! If the lag is too killer, at least find a kiosk and make a donation! <3

I am a huge Sex and the City fangirl. I can't wait to go see the movie and because that has been on my mind I thought it fitting to do a "tribute" set, all of these poses were inspired by the cast/characters of the show!

I don't know why, but I've wanted to make a flapper-girl inspired set for awhile. So, finally I got around to it. I'm sure they can be used for other purposes but that was my original inspiration. ;)

A sequel to the Aerial Assault set, I had so much fun with that set that I wanted to make another. The thing that I found most fun about these is that while photoing them for the vendor ad, if you come at these from several angles with your camera, they really have such multiple uses and change 'attitude' so much.

Long Awkward Pose In-World

Gotchur newness right hurr!

I have been promising, for months, more poses for the females that will work with the modeling side of things. And, taking a cue from one of those guilty pleasures of mine (ANTM) I've come up with a set of 20 new poses. They're not too dramatic, so they could be used for casual and every-day work as well. Please note that I've made these 'AO-ready'.....Slow transitions. Lower priority. And loose heads where possible. Demo. demo. demo them!

And if you missed it, or you are still waiting on it, I've got these two sets, from this past weekend, up in the shop now!

A set originally requested to be less torture on the micro-mini skirts, but it has great all-purpose use (and isn't horrid on the system skirts either). I'm kinda proud of this set, hope you guys like it too!

New @ [LAP] - Female Poses, Couples & Group Sets!

Woo! I've been a busy bee lately and you guys get to reap it! Ladies and more ladies poses, and lots of couples and group poses too. On with it...

Aerial Assault - I was flipping through a magazine and came across a Got Milk? ad that featured what they call 'aerial artists' and I felt instant inspiration and this is the result of that. Not for everyone, not for everyday use, but I think some people will enjoy it bunches.

Sitting Pretty - This is kind of a sequel to the 'Sitting Duck' set that I have. It's mostly sits, some crouchy type stuff thrown in - and muchly inspired by my fascination with ANTM! I'm a sucker for that show. (I've slowed transition on all of my new poses, but not all are AO-able, so just test them out.)

And lastly, the warmer weather and walks in the sunshine have been guiding my hand lately. I wanted to do something fun, cute and fitting to the season change...and I give you what I'm calling my "summer collection" (I know, hugely creative and original of me hehe).

Summer Daze - This pose set is SO not intended for my style of vendor ads, it really doesn't do them justice. I think this set might be one of my new favs, just because it's fun to play with and use while you are out and about in SL. It's also something I don't do often - create poses for the above-angle of the camera, kinda tricky.

1. SHOP. I have remodeled my shop somewhat, actually I just expanded it. I'm not quite finished but you might wonder what the hell if you TP in and seem a little lost. Speaking of, please make sure to update your SLURLs to the one included in this notice to prevent being dropped in a tacky spot. I've shifted the sets around and grouped them as best I can, male poses to the left, couples and group poses to the right, newness straight ahead and female poses all along the big wall. If you are wondering why I did this? Because I hope to be expanding into animating and AOs soon - yeah yeah, you heard me. :p

2. OUTLETS. I've been invited to join a few different communities and shopping areas lately. I'm so very thankful to everyone who has helped with this, considered me for this and just been generally awesome people. I've gotten my first one set up, for the most part, at House of Heart. I'll mainly use my satellite shops for new releases but you can find a dab of everything there. Here is the SLURL for that location, I'll update you on the others when I get set up.

3. CHUBBY. Heh. I just wanted to say that. :p I had quite a few requests for my couple's poses to be a little easier to purchase rather than clicking on 20+ ads and buying them seperately. So, I tried to group them as best I could, and now I offer my couple's sets in chubby packs! Woot! So far it's working out to about 3 sets per pack, and I've tried to "theme" them properly. Don't worry though, you can still purchase them individually from the vendor pose stands.

4. SOM. I was noticing the other day I have quite a few people in my subscribe-o-matic group, surprising number, at least to me. So, I thought it might be fun to have a little event for my most awesome of awesome customers once we hit the 1,000 subscribers mark! :o :o :o I think when that day happens I might have a secret sale for my update group only, or maybe give each member a free pose set of their choosing. If you have ideas, shoot'em my way!

5. FLICKR. I am a total flickr noob but I'm also a flickr addict. I just recently started a group on flickr for [LAP] and I'd love if you flickr-holics out there came and joined us and let us pool your photos that use [LAP] poses! If that's not enough, currently I'm running a weekly contest where I pick the coolest and most awesomely rad pic from the bunch and that person wins a free pose set of their choice! We're going to start doing themed photos and probably much more once I have more time - just keep an eye on the discussion boards there. Hi guys and gals! I know it has been a couple of weeks since the last update, I admit it, I have been slacking off. :p Okay, that's not entirely true, I do have a lot of things in the works - read below if you care to - otherwise here's the new stuff!

New couple's and group's sets this week! I've been doing a bunch of custom work and some of the customers were kind enough to let me release them to the public - so you guys get to enjoy them too! :D

That last one is a freebie for my group only! If you haven't joined, you should, it's subscribe-o-matic so it doesn't take up any group slots and I try not to spam unless it's total greatness. :D

Anyway, I've been working on a ton of custom projects, some of which are inspiring me and motivating me in the AO department that so many of you have been on my case about. :p So that's a plus. I'm also looking into opening up a couple of satellite shops in the near future - I hope that proves to be a success! I've got my hands in a few more charity/benefit events so be on the lookout for ways you can participate and help, and also grab up some goodies for a good cause!

Oh! One last thing. I'm sure some of you have heard of or know Tillie Ariantho - if you haven't yet, you need to get your hands on her totally awesome pose stand. It's a must for photographers and pose-addicts out there. The reason I'm telling you guys this is because you can now find one of her vendors in my shop, just inside the doorway on the right. Any questions or comments you have can be directed her way - I'm just the messenger.

As promised, here is that final, delayed, set of male poses.

It's a crouched series, all ground-sit style - they're AO-ready but keep in mind most of them have static heads in order to maintain the pose.

And because SL was such a dink this weekend and some of you might have missed out - I'm releasing this set half off AND the Dude V set is still marked half off too! They'll stay that way until I go to bed tonight probably - the reduced price is only on the sets, not the singles! So that's two, 10 pose sets, for 200L each! Woo!

Helllooooo! Okay, gonna try to keep this as short and sweet as possible.

First up, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who purchased one of my new pose props and/or donated directly to Laynie's laptop fund. I really appreciate that and so does she. I wrapped up a two-week fundraiser for her just the other day and I'll just say we collected a nice sum for her - so bravo you guys. But then, I always knew I had the best customers ever! ;)

Now, the newness!!

I promised the men folk that I had lots of goodies in store for them, and I'm keeping my promise. I've got THREE whole sets ready and packaged to go today - but I DO have one more set that's just a little delayed - I should have it out this weekend, I'll update you guys again just to be annoying. ;)

Something to note: I've started adjusting my poses to be more AO-friendly so that when I transition to making full AO sets, the jump won't be quite so scary. I've lowered the priority on these new poses and slowed the transition. I've also left the heads loose on some of the poses to give you more 'realistic' freedom of movement. In the poses where I felt the pose would be lost with a loose head, I made it static but it still has the lower priority and slowed transition. (all of my new pose releases that will be AO-ready will state it on the vendor image as you can see)

I tried to think of what I would say here, but I'm not really sure, most of it is too personal and private and I'm a pretty closed-up person, as some of you will know. So, I'm going to try to keep this strictly business I guess.

This game is just too much for me to handle, I suppose, it's just too real. I can't deal with the bullshit anymore so I'm packing up for a final time - no, I won't be returning. I wanted to let you guys know so that you could come grab whatever you want from my shop before I delete it (99.9% off). I don't want this to be another long...drawn out process like last time ..so I'm just giving you guys until midnight tonight. I know, I'm sorry...I just can't handle being here much longer.

If I had one last thing to say, I guess it would be: safe guard your hearts, folks.

Okay folks, I know it's been a little bit since I last made a peep, but here you go! News, newness and updates!

Now, I have three new releases but each of them have some temporary conditions to them, so please read carefully so that you understand and don't come rushing to the store confused. ;)

First up, I am participating in the grid-wide egg hunt organized by Vain Inc. It sounds like it's gonna be alot of fun and a great opportunity to snatch up some awesome freebies simply by hopping LMs from one shop to another. There are some great designers and creators participating, and all you have to do is grab the first egg at the starting location, hop to the LM inside of it, find the next egg, hop to next LM, and so on - collecting over 20 free prizes! Yay!

It doesn't start until the 23rd (I will be dropping the starting egg and instructions on my update group closer to go-time) and runs through both the 23rd and 24th of this month. I am offering one of my new sets, unreleased, for free for those two days ONLY! After this egg-hunting event it will go on sale in my shop as usual, so please make sure you come participate in the fun! This set is kind of a sequel to my "Kewt as a Button" set ...I call it 'Sweetheart' and I even threw in a totally free "bunny" pose just for kicks. ;) Teaser here:

And now for the big big OMG news. Sorta. Back when I reopened my shop, Laynie Link attended the reopening party and we had talked about how I always wanted to work with props at some point - I just wasn't skilled enough as a builder and had no idea where to start. She told me that she had wanted to dabble in prop poses as well but I think her shop just kept her too busy - so we formed a little partnership that night. She dropped some simple props she'd made on me, and I promised I would work with them. It took me THIS long. I know. I suck. I think the fact that Laynie's computer went bye-bye provoked and motivated me to get off my rear and finish these prop sets up. I wanted to figure out a way to pay her a percentage of my profits to begin with, but when her computer died I decided that for a period of time I would simply give her 100% of the profits made off of these sets as my way of saying thank you and also helping out a friend and fellow creator. So that's what I'm doing. If you come by the shop, know that your purchase of either of these two sets will be helping a sweet person like Laynie out, and please click the poster for an LM to her store where you can help her directly through further purchases or donations. Thank you!

That said - in the process of creating the poses for the props I started realizing these would totally suck without some way of scripting the props to work with the poses - luckily I came across a freebie script that did pretty much exactly what I needed it to do...I modified it a bit and voila! Scripted pose props!! :o They are totally mod/copy so you can edit them to your desire, make as many copies as you want, play with them, experiment, have fun. And if the script becomes a hassle, simply yank the poses from the props and use them seperately if you want (at the price I am selling these for, you are still only paying 50L per pose, which is the normal rate - you are basically getting the scripted prop FREE).

Perhaps in the future I will work more with props, it's really opening my mind to ideas and possibilities. I have more pose sets in the works, yes, men, you too will be getting some goodies, hopefully by next week! And I know I've been saying it for months and months, but I swear I will get into animating and AOs soon!

Now, a little rant from your's truly.

I am not normally the kind of person to drag my dirty laundry out into the front yard and beat it with a stick...but this one hit very close to home, literally, and I'm pretty fuckin' raw over it. I'm sure this will be a story all of you have experienced yourself or know someone who has, still not gonna stop me from telling mine.

I only just reopened my shop in January of this year, I decided to rent/buy from someone I thought I could trust as a friend. I owned two 4096 parcels in his commercial sim. I paid my tier on time or early, and it was not due again until the 15th of March. This morning, my landlord who was upset at being told I only wanted to speak to him if it dealt with business (because he has progressively attempted to persue a personal/romantic relationship with me and invaded my private space repeatedly), decided to tell me to get off his land by the 15th.

Now, this, I would have had no problem with...it's within his rights to do so and doesn't break his covenant in any way - although it reaks of immaturity and childishness. But then he proceeded to eject and ban my partner, Lawless McBride from our parcel and home. Lawless had said not a word to him, had barely *ever* said anything more than "hi and hello" to him the entire time we have resided there. He apparently put me on mute at that point in time and would not reply to anything I was saying or asking. Law IMed him and at one point in their conversation, the landlord even said that he banned him without reason and told him to "knock himself out" in response to reporting this to LL. Which, sure, is a total joke but that does not negate the fact that this landlord stepped WAY over his professional boundary.

He used Law against me because he knew it would work - and it did. By ejecting/banning Law he knew I would be provoked to leave his sim sooner than my 15th deadline because why the hell do I want to sit in a sim, on a parcel where my partner can't even come for the next week??? Not only this, but the land was set to group-owned with myself and Lawless being members and he has always paid half the tier on our properties! Since I am aware that we are pretty much subject to this landlord's whims and covenant, I know that we have very few rights, if any. I also did not want to bet my business on his rants and whims, I wanted to get my shop out of there and secured in a new location before this nutcase blew another sparkplug and decided to delete everything I worked so hard on.

Anyway, this is my attempt at taking back a little power in this situation and perhaps giving him a little bit of "fuck you too" in the process. His sims are primarily residential, but he is branching into commercial sims, so PLEASE, designers/creators, think twice before getting into business with this man - because he'll be expecting you to get into bed with him too!

Avoid this man and his sims at ALL costs:

Okay folks, this is gonna be a long one! So, for those of you who like to get down to business rather than read, I'll throw the new stuff up here at the top - but if you are interested in the various changes and updates to my shop/policies/etc, please make sure to read on down! Thank you guys!

10 New Couples/Group Sets This Week! I had alottalottalotta requests for more couple's poses - apparently I'm cheap or something? :D Heh. I had already had some sitting on the table waiting to be finished, but I had some requests for more 'casual/friendly' sets too ...so these are for the most part just fun and friendly, but you'll find some romantic-schmoozy stuff mixed in. You can purchase them from the posters on the wall, or from my couple's pose vendor.
Also! I've removed the pose balls from the shop for anything over 2-people sets, they annoy me, use up lots of prims and they're an eyesore. Take a look at the posters, pretty much what you see is what you get, but if you really need to test one of the larger group sets out before purchasing, just drop me a line and I'll set that up for you! :)

I do NOT build, so...none of the 'props' are included and instead of boxes you should probably imagine chairs and ...stuff. Sorry. I was feeling silly and made a pose inspired by the cover-pic of the movie Blacksnake Moan, but since I can't build, I couldn't install the chain, which is a crucial prop in this darn pose...therefore, it's FREE! Yay! You will only find it in my update group history archives though. I have two subscribe kiosks at my store, one on the steps outside and one on the wall inside. Does NOT use your 25 group slot limit!

*Speaking of my update group, I just wanted to say that from now on I will not do time-sensitive freebies in my group anymore. Apparently the last time I tried this there was a great deal of confusion and I hate to think that some people might have been annoyed, upset or mad over this - my apologies! So, from now on, limited-time freebies will only be done on-location in my shop, all other freebies will be offered in my shop and/or through my update group, of course.

*While on that note, I've put another box of freebie poses in my shop, it's another set of 10 of my regular poses adjusted for the larger/chubbier avatar (just inside the door in the usual place). I did this because of the great feedback I have gotten on the original free poses and to show my appreciation and thanks. I cannot count how many of you came up to me personally in the shop, or IMed me or took time to use my little online-messager to send me a nice note. That's very very much appreciated, I <3 you guys. So yeah, I will keep trying to give my thanks back to all of my great customers through my freebies.

*If you've been by the shop in the past week and a half you probably noticed that I did some rearranging. When I first reopened I had broken my poses into as many smaller sets as I could to make shopping and browsing them easier on you guys. But ultimately I think it created a bit of a cluttered mess and lag-fest what with all the pose stands and scripts running. So, to save space and such, I've combined two sets into one pose stand - it's still only roughly 20 poses per stand, but it makes things look neater and hopefully creates less lag. I also moved some of the 'themed' sets (faery/emo/preg/etc) onto the divider walls in the middle of the floor, just incase you are looking for them, they'll stay in single pose stands probably.

Up until this point I did not have gift cards for my shop, but since I needed to create one to offer for the event, and because I had had quite a few requests for them, I decided to go ahead and create a giftcard program for my shop. You can find them just inside the doorway on the wall there beside the update-group kiosk. They come in 100L, 500L and 1000L amounts. Instructions are given not just to the purchaser but the redeemer as well. Shouldn't be too hard, but if you guys have questions just send them my way.

I finished two more couple's sets this week, all of my couple's sets are mod/trans, for 100L each (older couple's poses are 50L). You can come by the shop and try them out in the pose stand, or just buy them directly from the posters on the wall.

I had a request for some cheerleading poses, so I whipped out a set of ten but they're not really something I would normally offer for sale in my shop, so instead I stuck them in a box by the doorway for FREE! Yay!

Annnnnd, since I have a new subscribe-o-matic group, and because I looooove groupies, for a very very limited time, if you join my group you can get my new "The Crew" group set (6 person!) for FREE. Whew! I've been working my tush off - well, I've also been working those closest to me too. hehe. I'mma slave driver. I've got three new pose sets for you tonight, one new male pose set and two new female sets. Gonna keep this short and sweet since my brain is about to collapse. All static poses are mod/copy, these new poses are 50L each or you can buy them in sets of 10 for 400L. Located in my shop on the wall straight in front of the doorway.

And, I finally decided to give the subscribe-o-matic update system a whirl - for those of you who kept asking if I had an update group, I do now! I told you I would have plenty of goodies for you over the next few days! Well, here's some more. Some of you who were customers of mine in the past might have noticed that a few of my old poses were MIA - it's true, I held them back because I hadn't completed the sets by the time my shop was ready to reopen (read: I'm a slacker). So, here they are, two sets composed of a mix of old and new poses!

The first is called "Snapshot" ...kind of a 'caught in motion' group of poses, pretty fun actually and funny to look at. 350L for 10 poses, or buy them seperately for 25-50L.

The next set I decided to call "Hand Job" ...yes, I went there, I did it. Hehe. All of the poses use some form of hand position to convey a still-act or expression. See for yourself. 350L for 10 poses, or buy them seperately for 25-50L.

New last week, just as a refresher, the 'Tuff Stuff' pose set - slouchy, slumpy, hunched and non-sexy - almost unisex. 400L for 12 poses, or buy them seperately for 50L.

Also, my anti-valentine's couple's sets are still up ...probably "retired" after the holiday though, so get them while you can! I've still got 3 more sets in the works and then I will be putting the static-pose making on the backburner for a bit so that I can focus on animations and AOs like I've been promising forever. ;p

New Poses @ [LAP] - "Tuff Stuff"

Inspired by a certain short, spunky and full of attitude gal (she can name herself if she wants ;) ) who came to my grand reopening party - this set is subtle, not at all sexy and probably could be somewhat unisex even though I made it for the girls. It's full of slouched shoulders, slumped spines and somewhat gender-bending poses. I think that's a theme in my SLife this week - wearing boi clothes, creating boi poses. Go team me!

12 static poses (mod/copy) for 400L (I threw in some extras just for fun) or you can buy them each seperately for 50L. Available only in my shop, buy the poster to get the full set or buy them individually from the pose stand.

Lub SUX! But the poses don't have to!

Okay, so anyone who knows me even a tiny bit is probably aware that I'm not your typical romantic. Hrm, actually, I'm not your typical -anything-...heh. Of course when I recalled that Valentine's day was around the corner I said to myself: "Self, you really have to do something spectacular and amazing for Valentine's, show'em yer stuff!"

I give to you the "Lub Sux" collection of couple's pose sets. No you won't be finding any cutsie-pootsie crap in my shop this Valentine's day. They're silly poses, but really quite a chuckle and fun to play with (especially if you equip the free emoter HUD I stuck in the box for ya). I laughed so hard I almost snorted, but then maybe I'm easily amused?

Longer and more Awkward than ever!

I finally did it ...and with a little help from my friends! After weeks of creating and sorting around a hundred new poses - and weeks of redoing ALL of my ad and graphic schemes - and weeks of aquiring land and building my shop....it's finally all done! Long Awkward Pose [LAP] has returned!

First I have to give thanks where it's severely due. BoRee Vella, my bestest buddy in SL and a total fashion hor - she spent long hours decorating and altering my shop so that it came out looking totally elite. Check out her 'About Face' blog to see some pictures of the interior, it's awesome! I would have let it come out looking like a shit box so I'm ever thankful for her help. *chomps Bobo*

Second, I need to give thanks to Lawless McBride, the hottest hunk of man meat in pixelated-form! He has supported and pushed and calmed and soothed me thru this entire process, even thru the points where I could have called it quits. He's a voice of reason, so smart and sucha giver. <3

Third, thank you to all of the people who came down for the private sneak-peek reopening party yesterday. You guys made it a huge success but I always did have some of the best customers in SL. Bravo to you all! You rock!

Okay, all the mushy stuff aside now, look for updates on what's new in the next post, but here's some common and basic store info for you:

All of my static poses are now copy/mod - I apologize for not making them mod originally, if you purchased old poses from me and need a mod version, just let me know please!
All of my poses now belong to sets and groups, this is in order to make them easier to purchase and also make the pose stands easier to peruse.
All of my old inventory will remain priced at the 50% off reduced rate. If you are confused about which poses you might already own just remember that poses priced at 25L are old inventory, and poses priced at 50L are completely new, never released!

I think that'll do for now. I have plans in the works, whole new sets I will be releasing in the coming weeks, animating that I am working hard to learn well, AO sets, couple/group poses and much more in the future! Hope to see you in-world sometime soon!
